Lens profiles (Photoshop)
Yongnuo lenses are a popular choice among budget-conscious photographers. However, like all lenses, they can exhibit some common aberrations, such as barrel distortion, pincushion distortion and vignetting.
Adobe Photoshop includes lens profiles for many popular lenses, including some Yongnuo lenses. These lens profiles can be used to correct these aberrations and improve overall image quality.
To use a lens profile in Photoshop, simply open the image in Camera Raw or Lightroom Classic. Then click on the Lens Corrections tab and select the desired lens profile from the list. Photoshop will automatically apply the lens profile to the image.
What custom profiles are available?
Yongnuo offers the following lens profiles (.icp file) for download (click to download zip file):

- If you use a lens profile for a lens that is not compatible, you may encounter unexpected results.
- You can find lens profiles for many lenses on the Adobe website.
Final tips before getting started
Here are a few tips for using lens profiles in Photoshop:
- Use a lens profile specific to your lens model and camera body.
- Apply the lens profile to the raw image file, rather than to a JPEG file.
- Experiment with different lens profiles to see which produces the best results for your image.
- You can also use the Lens Corrections tab in Camera Raw or Lightroom Classic to manually adjust lens corrections. This can be useful if you’re not satisfied with the results of automatic lens profile correction.
