Firmware update
The YN40mm f/2.8N is an autofocus lens with a maximum aperture of F/2.8. This should be enough in most low-light situations. If you are looking for a brighter lens, you can check out the 35mm f/2 or the 50mm f/1.4 from Yongnuo.
The lens is really small and light, and often better than most kit lens. 40mm lenses are appreciated from photographers, as the field of view is between the 35mm and 50mm lenses, that are usually the closer lenses to reality.
